Reactivating the Archive Art, Architecture and Performance

As part of the Public Program of Ritratto di città—a MASBEDO project curated by Cloe Piccoli—a multi-voice dialogue on the relationship between contemporary art, cultural production and the archive, considered as a living and unstable device for renegotiating the urgencies of contemporaneity. Ritratto di città (20/20000Hz) was created as a re-activation of the testimonies, photographs, sounds and stories of the RAI Phonology Studio, recon gured today into a new interdisciplinary score that translates the insights of the post-war period by listening to the complexity of today's metropolis. MASBEDO's work is an opportunity to explore the possibilities of archival practice between memory, actuality and political planning for the future. The discussion will start from the identity of Cuore, designed by AR.CH.IT Luca Cipelletti to house the archives of Triennale Milano.
